King Kong was released in Germany in the United States on 14 December 2005 and on 16 December and opened $ 50.1 million. Though it was less than expected, King Kong made domestic and universal, which eventually added up to $ 550 million, at that time Universal became the fourth highest grossing film in the history of the movie.
