Filled Under:

how to fix google chrome not responding

There are some things that you can try to speed up chrome. First, open Chrome's Task Manager, then find and close processes that seem to be using a lot of resources.

Here are some more things you can try:

Follow these instructions to confirm Chrome up-to-date.
Try browsing in incognito mode (Menu> New Incognito Window). What does it help?
Disable unused plugins (some disabling chrome may work pale, so can be systematic)
Use uncheck hardware acceleration (menu> Settings> Advanced Settings> Show System menu)
Update GC and flash drivers
Use Chrome's default theme (Settings & gt; Appearance & gt; Reset to default theme menu)
Reset your browser settings
Try Data Saver Chrome Extension

If they do not work, you can check whether Canaria's chrome is faster. It's ahead of the update curve, so some users enjoy it and some bugs work before it stabilizes.
